24th MERDEKA TEAM CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP 2004
The Malaysian Chess Federation will be orgazing the 24th Merdeka Team Chess Championship 2004 as per the details below. The 2 events will be held in Hall 1, MidValley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The 2 events with different time controls are as follows:
First Tournament (Time Control: 1 hour + 15 seconds increment from move 1)

Conditions for participation: The average rating of the players in a team should not exceed 2200 during play. Example: Player A: 2500
Player B: 2300
Player C: 2100
Player D: 1900 = 8800 ÷ 4 = 2200
Unrated players will be considered as 1800 for calculation purposes.
CLOSING DATE: 16 AUGUST 2004. ENTRIES AFTER THIS DATE WILL BE SURCHARGED RM 100.
CHANGE OF BOARD ORDER, CHANGE OF NAMES etc. WILL ALSO BE SURCHARGED RM 20 per change.
